Welding steel and aluminum
Welding and steel constructions adjusted to your needs. We are able to assist with all types of works connected with steel structures and welding, both outside and inside.
We prepare industrial, trade and office buildings with steel construction, engineering structures (bridges, overpasses, walkways) as well as steel constructions for technology requirements.
Since the very beginning of its operation, ScanStal and Uni-Tek A/S have placed emphasis on modern workmanship technologies. We are able to achieve high quality and efficiency thanks to qualified staff and investing in state-of-the-art equipment.
We are certified in welding processes, which includes: 111 MMA, 131 MIG, 135 MAG, 14732 Robot (131, 135, 136, 138 FW-BW), 783 Stainless steel and aluminum bolt welding.
We also hold EXC1, EXC2 and EXC3 approvals.
Sheet bending and rolling, section manufacturing
We also specialize in professional mechanical sheet processing thanks to modern CNC technology – numerical control. It allows us to quickly complete orders, at the same time maintaining highest degree of precision and strict compliance with orders made by our clients.
Sheet bending is a specialized service that we provide thanks to our brakes and well-equipped magazine of tools, which allow us to achieve different surfaces and radii. The CNC machine tools we use stand out thanks to their modern technology, which maximizes work efficiency.
Complete protection against corrosion
Complete protection against corrosion with shot blasting as well as wet or powder painting, and hot-dip galvanization
We offer wet painting:
- pneumatic spraying,
- airless spraying.
In our painting system we work with all corrosion levels (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5M). Before protection against corrosion is applied, we clean the surface using the following methods:
- brushing,
- grinding,
- steel shot blasting.
We also offer:
- powder painting,
- hot-dip galvanization,
- galvanization.
Full welding supervision and NDT control
In addition to quality control of our own work, we also set requirements for other parties involved in the process, in order to ensure that the final product meets all European standards. In practical terms it means that we require that all our suppliers make subcontractor declarations, so that we can be certain that they and their products can meet the requirements under the EN 1090 standard. For our clients it means that we already need to have all the information about the project at the very beginning of the process.
Mechanical, laser and plasma cutting
We offer mechanical cutting with band saws and shears. We also provide the option of thermal cutting with the use of:
- plasma / acetylene – oxygen cutters
- plasma cutting
- laser cutters
Machining on CNC milling machines and lathes
Our offer includes comprehensive machining services. We manufacture prototypes and provide small, medium and multi-series production with the application of the CNC technology.
Our modern machines and specialist software guarantee maintaining maximum efficiency and effective use of raw materials.
Thanks to our competences, technical know-how and many years of experience in 2D and 3D designing as well as CN machining, we are able to successfully complete even the most challenging projects.
Design and technology office
We help to prepare 3D production drawings which comply with the EN 1090 standard using state-of-the-art INVENTOR tools. At ScanStal Sp. z o. o., we take the time to talk to our clients and partners, and help them find, adjust and implement appropriate decisions. We have the support and cooperation of numerous engineers and architects when we work on steel structures, so that everyone can focus on their tasks. About the Company
ScanStal Sp. z o.o. has operated in the Polish market since September 2020. We are a branch and a partner of UNI-TEK A/S, a Danish company established in 2003 by Lars Henrik Nielsen, which has become a leader in the industry of welded structures in the Danish market, and now also the Polish market (https://www.uni-tek.dk/om-os ).
We specialize in the industry of steel welded structures. The Company is located in Chojnice, Pomeranian Voivodship. We offer welded steel structures at competitive prices thanks to the high efficiency of our production processes, use of state-of-the-art machines and devices, and cooperation with best partners and suppliers of materials.
We manufacture parts of agricultural machinery and equipment, and structures for the construction industry: stairs, balconies, steel welded elements for bridges and road infrastructure, structures for the machinery, chemical and energy industries.

With the help of our welding robot we were able to increase out production by almost 100%, so we can assist with series production of embedding bands for the concrete industry or other types of series production for the construction industry. HARMONIZED STANDARDS
Harmonized standards laid down in EU Directives!
These standards lay down general requirements regarding safety and health for different groups of products, whereas specifications focusing on technical details can be found in the so-called harmonized standards. Such standards serve as substantial proposals of how products can be manufactured, controlled and sold in compliance with the directives. When manufacturers and distributors comply with such standards they guarantee that all requirements are met to ensure safety and health protection.
EN 1090 standard – when compliance with the standard is obligatory!
Often, the manufacturer is obliged to comply with certain standards, however, with some groups of products both the CE marking and compliance with applicable standards are obligatory. It pertains to the manufacture of several construction products, including steel or aluminum load-bearing structures, which are covered by the harmonized EN 1090 standard. Since such steel elements and construction structures are deemed critical in terms of safety, specific international legislation provides how companies are to manufacture, distribute and sell such products in the construction industry. Steel and aluminum load-bearing structures and construction systems have to be granted the CE marking, meet the requirements laid down in the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and comply with the EN 1090 standard if they are to be placed on the market and sold as construction products. This covers individual structures and series of constructions, including construction sets and systems. It contributes to the load-bearing capacity of the building. It will be provided as a fixed element of the building. In order to be granted the CE marking, it is necessary, as mentioned before, to comply with the harmonized EN 1090 standard. It means, among others, that the performance of a construction product is determined on the basis of European safety criteria, which are checked and duly documented.
Who is responsible? All parties involved in the process are obliged to comply with and document the EN 1090 standard. For this reason, it is important to control the rules and procedures beginning with the manufacturer, and then at the stages where importers or distributors are engaged – and the final responsibility lies with the seller.
